A [SIZE=14]HUGE[SIZE=14] game tomorrow at the Dean Dome. After two hard fought, well executed games that we lost, our young kids must bounce back for Round 2 of the ACC. After going 2-6 the first time around, we need a strong showing this time around, in order to even be considered for the NCAA tournament. 5 of our last 8 conference games will be played in Chapel Hill. Therefore, we with homecourt advantage, we must win our home games, especially those against some of the weaker teams in the league, like FSU. Go Heels! :D

What I'm worried about is the fact that a "weaker" team in the ACC is still a darn good team. You have to bring your "A" game against everyone this year, because there are no freebies. That goes for just about any league game.

I hope we can play like we did against dook -- I think that will get us a W tomorrow.

I'll take it, considering that May and McCants were not factors.
I'm happy to get it regardless of the margin. We needed it badly.

Considering we're such a "weak" team... I would have thought a lot more than "one"... :D But then the Noles beat Stanford today by one run in 9 innings, just like they beat us in 13 innings last night by one run... 03-cool

Wow, what a win for us! We needed this one BADLY. Now I think the guys have a better taste in their mouth and gives them some confidence. Our FT shooting was good for most of the game, it almost lost us the game, and then it won us the game!!! A much needed win! 1 in the bank, 5 to go.

I'm sure beating a weak (yes, we lost to a weak team from Duke perspective) team by 1 at home will be a huge confidence booster.

Take away your two best players and play FSU again. I'd bet you'd be happy with a one point win, regardless of location.

Nate, I'm glad you feel the need to keep reminding us about our game against dook on a thread about FSU.
