College baseball has a long season. Losses happen. Wake has lost 2 games so far, to 2 well-known baseball programs, Elon & Nebraska. FSU has lost to Stanford and will lose some more as the season progresses, as they always do, especially when the ACC conference schedule begins. Here's to a season as injury-free as possible.

Stanford was higher ranked and a lot better baseball team than Nebraska ever has been. And we played out in California, but I'm not making excuses. Stanford turned around and beat Texas, last year's CWS champ. The Noles have now won 10 games in a row since our 2nd win at Stanford :D

*yawn*

Josh Howard - ACC Player of the Week 3 times so far, National Player of the Week once, and is on Wooden Award list and a Naismith Award finalist.

Justin Gray - ACC Rookie of the Week

Skip Prosser - Naismith Coach's Award finalist

Oh, 21-4, 11-3 ACC.

Now run along home, sweetie... :D

Tim Pickett being ACCPOW in basketball has nothing to do with the team's success.

MsNole Wrote:I expect Wake, Duke, NC to have players named to the ACC Player of the Week, but did you ever think a FSU player would get named? I sure didn't  So it is a BIG deal... 04-cheers
Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then. And actually I think every team has had a player named POW this season.

Rick: I meant that Justin has been named ROW one time this season. I do think Felton got the award this past week.

Techfan: Exactly.
