In the bottom of the 1st, Stephen "Dirt" Drew hit a homerun. Drew bats first. The Noles get another run and the score is Noles 2, Tigers 0.

In the bottom of the 3rd, a Nole steals 3rd, and Clemson overthrew the 3rd baseman, and the Nole came home to make the score Noles 3, Tigers 1!!! :D Clemson made 2 errors in this innings. :rolleyes:

No. 2 Florida State (32-6, 10-4 ACC) topped No. 13 Clemson (25-8, 4-4 ACC) by a final of 7-2 in front of 4,125 fans at Dick Howser Stadium Saturday night. Seminole head coach Mike Martin moved into a tie with Ron Fraser for eighth on the NCAA all-time victory list at 1,271. Senior left-hander Matt Lynch (8-2) got the win, allowing two runs on five hits in five innings of work. Junior Rhett James struck out a career-high five batters and held Clemson scoreless over innings six through eight with Daniel Hodges finishing off the Tigers in ninth.
