If the latest rumors surrounding his impending depature from the basketball team are true, how is this going to affect NCSU's lineup next fall?

Pros
-----

- It frees up a scholarship for a potentially better player to join State prior to the completion of the spring signing period.

- Even if the scholarship is not immediately used, it opens up for a potentially better player to join the following class along with Cedric Simmons and one or two others. That would allow a smoother transition once the large class of Hodge, Watkins, Evtimov, Powell, and Collins move on.

- It would free up playing time for Dom Mejia, Cameron Bennerman, Mike O'Donnel, and Engnin Atsur.

Cons
------

- The team loses some stability and a sense of continuity as a result of the transfer.

- This transfer would be another in a long line of transfers for a variety of reasons leading some to conclude that the program/coach are not in good shape.

- It could harm our depth next season if Scooter Sherrill gets hurt.

Any other opinions on this?
