How does the football season look for you guys? BTW, congrats on the win against Oregon, my second fave team. For some reason, they always take you guys lightly, and you always make them pay for it. :bang:
Any of you looking forward to the ECU game this fall? I think that can develop into a nice rivalry over time.

I'm pretty optimstic about the coming football season. We lose 12 starters, but also return 12, and have 40 returning lettermen, so there is still a lot of experience throughout the team. The big question will be at QB...who will replace MacPherson. Cory Reynolds got some key PT last season and reports said he had a good spring. Zac Taylor also got a good workout in spring practice. Other key losses are Calvin Pace at DE, Montique Sharpe at NT, Fabian Davis' speed at WR and of course Tarence Williams at RB.

We return Jason Anderson at WR and I can't wait to see him pulling down more long passes in clutch situations. He was awesome in the Seattle Bowl! Quinton Williams will be valuable at FS and will not only be up for All-ACC honors, but another year of All-Academic honors too. Brad White at LB & Tyson Clabo at OG will also be making big plays.

How do I see the season turning out? Anywhere from 6-6 to 8-4. I definitely think Jim Grobe & his staff have assembled a team that is out of the cellar and making its way up the ACC ladder to stay.

Wins: Purdue, East Carolina, Georgia Tech, @Duke, @UNC, UConn
Losses: NC State :frown:, @Virginia, @FSU, Maryland
Could go either way: @Boston College, Clemson

I'm really liking the ECU series (of course we've ruled!). Great replacement & upgrade from playing Appalachian State all those years.
