Calvin Pace is an Arizona Cardinal! He is the first first-round draft pick from Wake Forest! Way to represent Calvin Pace! Now all we need is for Mughelli to drafted.

So far Tarence Williams hasn't signed anywhere. A total of 3 Deacs were drafted and 3 more signed free agent contracts:

Besides Calvin Pace who was the only ACC player drafted in the first round, FB Ovie Mughelli went in the 4th round to the Baltimore Ravens and NT Montique Sharpe went to Kansas City in the 7th round.

Free agent signees are:

QB James MacPherson signed with Indianapolis where he'll rejoin former Wake Forest coach Jim Caldwell who is the QB coach for the Colts.

TE Ray Thomas of Canada will remain close to his native country after signing with Buffalo.

WR/Kick returner Fabian Davis signed with Tampa Bay.

Congrats to these Deacs on making the "big time"!
