Blake Balkcom, an outfielder out of Chipley, Fla., led the Seminoles to a 2-1
series record against No. 10 Georgia Tech, as he went 5-for-11 (.455)
with a slugging percentage of 1.091 in the three game series. Balkcom,
playing all weekend with two sprained ankles and recovering from a

runs against the Yellow Jackets, in addition to a double and four RBI.
The 6-2, 225 junior scored five runs, walked once and was hit by a pitch
for an on-base percentage of .538.
