I am glad you are laughing about your comment, because it brings up an interesting point.

You know, when your win total matches your "supposedly" high talent level, then I will stop laughing.

You see, we have been told that the talent level is great, you will win all these games, our program is on the downward slide, but all of those things never seem to materialize. So, like a friend of mine once said, You can continue to win all the "mythical" national championships you would like, but spring doesn't count, and you'll be back in the same old place come fall.

Unless coaching improves, and player commitment improves. Then those preseason rankings might actually start meaning something.

Impossible, because every year since 1981 the title of preseason MNC has been firmly entrenched in Pickens Co..
