I got some odds for you.

How about 55-15 odds? Or 15-0 odds?

Southlink - let me guess.

You are a UGA fan in football and a LSU fan in baseball?

I grew up near Baton Rouge for 19 years (since my uncle went to LSU) and went to just about every single baseball game and football game since I was 2. Uncle was a freakin fanatic with LSU sports. I even went to Omaha in '96 and '97. I would have gone to LSU but the Journalism school here at UGA was incredibly better so I came here on scholarship. I also played with 5 players on the LSU team (3 that start & 1 that died, Wally Pontiff) so I will root for them when they aren't playing Georgia in any sport. UGA is out so I am hoping LSU will repeat as usual!!

So I guess the lesson here is that when someone like Florida won the national football championship in 1996, they should've proceeded directly from the Sugar Bowl to Tuscaloosa, AL and handed their trophy over to the University of Alabama........yunno, since Alabama "owns" them in series record and all......I mean, I'm assuming that when you have ANY losing record versus ANY opponent, that this automatically makes any championships you win null and void. Correct?

And Villanova's 1985 national title in basketball really doesn't count, because history-wise, UCLA and Kentucky own college basketball. So really every championship won by anyone else never counts.

Perhaps Oregon just give back their recent Rose Bowl appearances to Southern Cal or UCLA. And Northwestern could give their 1994 season to Ohio State or Michigan. After all.......only the series record counts. No one follows individual seasons, anymore. 04-drinky

There you go!

And they might as well quit trying to win a hoops game in Chapel Hill; because even if they do, the Heels would still "own" them, so that first win wouldn't count, anyway.

For that matter, the Tiggers may as well quit trying to beat US. We don't own many things in hoops these days but we do "own" CU according to davidbowden's logic. Therefore any wins by Clemson over USC in hoops don't count. :D
