Well, I hate both schools, but the northern version a bit more.

Do I pull for UNC and the ACC? Or do I go with USC and former State coach Ray Tanner which would be an intriguing matchup if we can get that far.

On the other hand, we have beaten UNC 3 out 4 this year.

Also noticed that we are ranked ahead of Miami in every poll, yet they are hosting the superregional.

This is a good question. The only reason I would say to cheer for UNC is for the ACC, but even then I think that is just too much to ask.

For some reason I personally just tend to hate USC less.

My thoughts are ~ ignore the game all together! Neither one fo them could make it far enough to meet us @ the World Series right???

The "snobs" in this case are SC. They are the perennial baseball power... and they have tons of fans going around trying to make that known to the entire world.

This win would be huge for the ACC and the state of NC.

Now, I'm not saying I'll be pulling for State against Miami -- I'll probably be indifferent to that one (especially since Miami is ACC-bound). But, I would definitely pull for them over the 'cocks.

I'm rooting for the Heels based on (A) ACC pride, and (B) the fact that SC knocked us out of the CWS last year.
