Receiver charged with possession
Curtis Baham, a sophomore wide receiver at Clemson, was charged with simple possession of marijuana on May 22 according to a Clemson University Police Department incident report.
Roy Curtis Baham Jr., 20, of New Orleans, La., was arrested at a Thornhill Village apartment on campus at 5:23 p.m., according to the report. Clemson University Police Chief Gregory Harris was out of town Thursday afternoon, and further details were unavailable.
Through a spokesman, coach Tommy Bowden said any discipline will be handled internally pending completion of the legal process. Baham said Thursday that he is putting the incident behind him.
"It's in my past, and I'm looking at the present and the future," Baham said. "I'm not that type of person. It was just a bad day."
Baham played just six snaps last season as a redshirt freshman -- three against North Carolina and three against Texas Tech in the Tangerine Bowl -- and did not catch a pass. But Baham was one of Clemson's most pleasant surprises on the field during spring practice, earning almost daily praise from Bowden for his improvement.

Why is it I'm having a bit of trouble with this statement ?
If he wasn't in fact that type of person, what in the hell was he doing with the damn dope ? It's always "a bad day" when you get caught.
Tommy needs to set a precedent, IMO.

Sam, you've heard the old saying that it's raining cats and dogs? Well, maybe that day it was raining pot.
Sort of like Sammy Sousa's excuse for the corked bat.
