Yawhoos, a better question would be, "Are the Tigers likely to have a bad season?" ........The answer of course is, "No".

Give me logical reasoning to indicate we may be in for a rough season, if you would. I don't believe there is any.

Last season's achilles heel was the performance of the offensive line. The offensive line which started out with zero depth, and was immediately decimated by injuries. By seasons end, our second teamers averaged 257 lbs across the front, to say nothing of experience. Hell, we were pulling tuba players from the band to block because Tommy Bowden remained committed to redshirting the true freshmen he had recruited.

Our problems with the offensive line have been addressed. Is there some other glaring problem you foresee?

I think many outside the Clemson family will be surprised this year. Those of us who actually follow Clemson football will as always.......expect greatness. 03-cool

ST, while I am a USC fan, I do follow the CU program VERY close. I really don't have a choice. With the exception of my Dad, my brother and myself, my ENTIRE family is CU so we talk about CU ALOT.

While your Oline should be improved over last years, there is no depth. If one or two of those guys get hurt, you are gonna have MAJOR problems. You weakness this year will be your defense. You lost those lineman after last year and really don't have the talent to replace them.

I also think you will see alot of 5 db defenses until you prove you have a running game. I think that Coleman kid is the best RB you guys have. I would love to have him on our team, backing up Meat of course.03-wink

I really don't think you are going to be able to stop anyone and will have to win by scoring alot.

Time will tell.

WILL KICKOFF GET HERE ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!! :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang:

IMO, if Bowden wins 8 or more games we keep him. If wins 7 or less or if there are any embarrassing blowout losses he and the university part ways.

I do expect good things this year. We return a lot of experience and have some huge games at home this year (UGA, FSU, UVA).

My one true knock on Bowden is his inability to win the big game when it counts. He'll have his chance this year and I think he gets it done.

We'll see ... 04-drinky
