bandwagon quickly...Amato is ALL football so he
made his mind known...Obviously Tech and the Canes
are on board...UVA, is making a strong move in
Football so they'll be there at the bell...

Just hope we don't chase this pipe dream about
Notre Dame too long...and watch the Big East
swoop in and take UCF and USF. 'Cause I believe
they are getting ready to go to 12 teams up there.

They could add...Louisville, Marshall, UCF, USF
and one other from an assorted number of schools,
along with UCONN, who is coming in and be at 12.

In all honesty, the carolina cartel is really UNC and Duke.

Oh there's no denying that Donna Shalala did a passable impression of Monica Lewinsky on this deal, and that as a result N.C. State now has 1 more school to leech off of ... that's why I'm pissed.

But I'll feel better when we pound the Wolfpack back to the bottom of the conference standings where they belong.

In the past two decades we've been hit with NCAA sanctions twice & had 5 different head coaches ... and through it all we've managed to collect a fistful of national championship rings (in 1983, 1987, 1989, 1991, 2001 with 4 different coaches), lost in the national championship game 3 times, and finished in the top 3 on 4 other occasions.

Oh yeah ... and we just happen to be situated on the lead end of the Florida football talent pipeline.

We're not going anywhere.


And if it wasn't for us, the Noles would be the one's with all those big, ugly rings.

The only way that the Hurricanes football program can "slip" is if Florida St slips ahead of us.

As promised...Florida State, Ga Tech, (count in UMD
and Clemson) and then more than likely Miami will

I find it odd that fans of a program losing 1.5 million dollars, despite having one of their best years on the field, cruise around accusing others (whom they desperately wish to join as a means of alleviating said red ink) of being leeches.

Isn't there a term for that type behavior? Transference, maybe?
