I'm sure they had plenty of opportunities to shoot murder scenes while they were here.

I watched it. Mexican man murdered in 2003 for his cash payroll in South Memphis in an apartment complex parking lot. Nothing negative about Memphis itself. Good show.

I don't know anything about our Police or their investigative activities, but as a casual observation about the MPD, it appears to me that we solve a lot of murder cases. In many cities (again just my casual observation) many many murders go unsolved forever. I have no clue if statistics would back up those observations or not, but that's my perception.

I don't know how many former Tiger footballers are actually assigned to homicide vs. vice, gang, tactical, or patrol divisions but I do know the football team is well-represented at MPD. Several were teammates of mine and they are to be commended for the job they do. 04-rock One of the guys is on the Tactical SWAT Unit and another is assigned to the Gang Unit. I wouldn't mess with either one of them. ;-)
