No doubt this team has focus.

I think we have enough pieces of the puzzle in place to have a 9 win season, or possibly even better. We still lack depth at some of the defensive positions, but our two deep is solid enough to get the job done.

We have tremendous skill in the passing game, talented running backs and an improved offensive line. We demonstrated last year that we would run and throw in just about an equal ratio. This year we look to be more effective doing both. :)

But what we've been hearing since the spring is particularly encouraging. The coaching staff has put big time emphasis on developing more toughness in the red zone (both from the offensive and defensive lines) and from all reports, that is exactly what is happening. Reports of the offensive linemen with "mean streaks", on-field fights breaking out because of overly-aggresive play, yet the defensive line still staying one-step ahead. Tommy Sharpe's quotes are more evidence of the new attitude which appears to have taken over in Tigertown. :D
