Tough loss for the Wake Forest fans. I don't think the play calling by our coaches was very good. This is the first time I have to doubt Coach Grobe but he still is a good coach. Now need to prove we derserve to be in the Top 25. I still see atleast a 7 win season and a bowl game.

That 4th down play was dumb! Why run the ball into the meat of their defense. Should have went with a short pass or screen.

When we ran the football on 4th down we should have done it under center anyway. And we didn't run enough during the game. I remember one series where it was pretty much all pass.

Eerie parallels between this game and the State/OSU game:

- Both games were against the Big 10.
- Both teams lost by 6.
- Both teams fell short at the end after a controversial playcall.

What's with the little ACC teams getting good this year? Duke AND WF should be 3-1 after this week! I was looking forward to playing them next year but maybe not anymore.

Uh, Wake not only went to a bowl game last season, but soundly beat Oregon. And the year before that we were bowl-eligible. I'm not surprised that we are continuing the excellence that Coach Grobe has brought to our program.

Duke on the other hand...we'll see how things go once they begin conference play.
