NC State gets recognition from basketball magazine.

Coming off back-to-back appearances in both the ACC title game and the NCAA Tournament, NC State is ranked 17th in SLAM Magazine's annual preseason men's basketball poll. The Wolfpack will return three starters from last year's squad, plus forward Ilian Evtimov, who sat out the 2002-03 season with a knee injury. SLAM, a magazine dedicated to the world of basketball, covers the NBA, NCAA and high school hoops on a monthly basis.
