MsNole Wrote:I saw that 10MAN. Not too sure what to think of it though. Sure hope the Noles can hang with the Rebels. :D
By the way, I was traveling to Troy, Alabama on the day you wrote this thread. Went to finally see my granddaughter. Poor baby had a bad cold.
Got to see Troy State beat up on Marshall last night. The final score was 33-24. Knew they wouldn't get up to Troy after beating Kansas State the week before. The students from TSU were so thrilled at beating Marshall that they tore down both goal posts after the game.
Hang with the Rebels? Huh? I think you have that backwards, MsNole. All you gotta do is throw 4 or 5 peons on the court to beat Ole Miss. :roflol: Granted, I know FSU isn't exactly a powerhouse in basketball either, but it'll be fun for us to rib each other on the days leading up to that game, won't it? We have some serious problems in the basketball area, just as in football. :bang: Hey, at least we have a pretty good baseball team.
Hope the grandbaby gets better soon, I know you were excited to get to see her anyway. My son has been fighting a sore throat lately himself....that time of year.
I saw that Troy St score, that is awesome. The best thing about that win was the timing. It finally shut those MAC fans up. They were all thumping their chests last week after the big weekend all their teams had......but Troy St brought them back down to earth. Still, a big win for the boys in Troy. I know your son was elated.
I'll be down in your neck of the woods next weekend, MsNole, well sort of. You know at the first of the season, when your football team has so much promise and things are looking to be big for your team, and you buy into all the hype, only to realize that your team is really no better than they were last year? Well, you're an FSU fan, you probably don't have that problem too often. But I, as a Rebel, do have that problem. Anyway, I bought tickets to the OM-UF game for this weekend way back before the start of this dreadful season, so now I have to endure the hell of watching my Rebs take it on the chin....again, and travel hundreds of miles to witness it. Well, you know my mother lives in St Pete, so all will not be lost in the trip I guess. We are staying with her, so that will be the best part of my weekend. Somehow I get the feeling that you will be pulling for my Rebs anyway, though.
The Noles are cruising.....congrats and good luck against those darned Canes in a couple of weeks!!!
