Wake Forest, though North Carolina and GT have been very very good as well.

GT has been playing the best lately, but I think Carolina has the most potential. Duke should be the best team right now, but our inconsistant play is costing us. And now Sheldon may be hurt.

Georgia Tech all the way. I must say though, the Seminoles have certainly surprised me and hope it continues the rest of the season. 8-0

ACC basketball is here, baby! Stand back or be run over!

On another note:

Is it possible for all the ACC teams to make it into the Dance this March? Or would all the conference games mess up their records?

I figure that teams will need to go at least 8-8 in the ACC to make the big dance. If a team has a good overall record, then I can see a 7-9 team making it. Anyone think a 6-10 team can make it to the big dance?

Current Locks:
UNC
Tech
Duke
Wake
Maryland
FSU

Bubble:
State
UVA

Out:
Clemson

We could get 7 in this year if FSU continues at their level and State picks up the pace.

Some of those teams will be exposed for what they really are once ACC play begins, Im thinking Florida State will definitley be one of them, they have a big time test coming up against Pittsburgh.
