some random thoughts on the 03 season with no one or team in mind

1.If we are relying on last years scores for our predictions don't it will be a new year with some new players and in some cases coaching.maybe better or worse than the one replaced.

2.parity is here gone are the days of one or two teams dominating a conference for very long.if we learned anything last year that should be it.the distance from the penthouse to the out house is about three games!

3.so our guy was a star last year if he is still here can he handle the hype?will he get hurt?will the team really be ok with it?this is not a one man show both sides of the ball have got to play well to be successful.

4.nothing will last forever tradition is great but can not win a football game.when ever a streak starts another ends.

5.never discount the home field advantage!and never think just because we are playing at home it is automaticly a win.

6.i have not heard of any teams saying we wont play that game because we can not win.they will show up and give it there best shoot.especially rivalry games we all have them.

7.there will be only 2 teams in the conference championship game we all have an equal chance of getting there until the games are played.in all of D1 football last year only 1 was un defeated ours was not it.unless you are a buckeye and then why are you reading this?

8.no one has repeated as big 12 champs!

9.realistic is also relative we follow our team not yours and likewise.so we look at our team a little different than you do.all of which is no more than a guess

I would disagree on this one. I still consider the Big XII to be OU's turf unless someone can knock them off.

i agree to a point but as good as they were OKIE ST.and aTm beat them las season.there was a time when all they had to do was show up almost.to carry it one step further look to KSU and NU shoot most of the north has made a dramatic rise.
