What does everyone think about this upcoming game? I think it is going to be very tough. But if there is one thing we know about this team, it's that they do get up for big games. Hopefully they can see how big this game is, and decide to come out and play hard for a full 40 minutes.

I agree. I don't think we'll win, but I know the team will (or should, at least) come to play. Stranger things have happened....

This game isn't qualified as a "big game" because a lot of people have already penciled us in as an NCAA tournament team (although I still think we need at least one more win). The fact is, that this game could be huge for the morale of this team. A win against State on the road, this late in the season, could do wonders for our team. Right now I think we need some kind of turbo boost (whether it be a win at State, a win at Duke, or a run in the ACC Tournament) if we are going to make any noise in the NCAA tournament.

I have to agree with you. I think at this point in the season, this is the "biggest game of the season." Of course that could change at any point down the road, but this is a game we're not supposed to win. Other than the UConn game (maybe) and the Wake game (maybe), I don't reallyt hink we've won a game we're not supposed to win.

Like you said, a win today could give these guys confidence they didn't know they had. We need it.

GO HEELS!

just as an aside, did anyone see during the first half when hodge was getting in rashad's face for no reason? rashad just pushed him away though, i thought that was weird

hey Ben... it happened in the second half too... I noticed it after the had gotten with 4 or 5, something like that. We were inbounding after a timeout and hodge was up in McCants face, I assume for intimidation purposes... worked well didn't Hodge... McCants lit his A.S.S. up on defense!! When Sherril went down, they stuck Hodge on him, McCants proceded to do the same on the offensive end!
