How do you buy your TIGER gear?
One of the things we have been working on is the ability for all TIGER fans to have access to Merchandise.
Our biggest effort is to get merchandise at a lower price.

So where do you get your gear.

1. At a store. (Like TIGER Bookstore)

2. On the Internet

3. At games

This will help us in the future to reach more TIGER fans.

Thanks for the help.

I would prefer to buy over the internet, but because there is not much quality gear available on the net, usually it is a store. Rarely at a game.

I usually try to get mine at a store that does not carry crappy stuff in both design and quality. I guess that is why I don't own a single stitch of Bill Planet apparel.

I rarely buy at the games unless it is a really good sale.

However, the first of the season or the spring game I sometimes buy.

I ususally buy at a store, but I would buy things over the Internet if there were more things available.

I usually buy at Champion Awards they give 30% of their sales to the University of Memphis.

If you want me to buy your Tiger gear get Champion to carry it!

I forgot, I usually clean up at Champion the last football game of the year in the HH lot. T-Shirts for $5, jackets, kids stuff....etc..at drastically reduced prices (Oh, and no Bill PLanet crap). I will also be purchasing a lettermen's jacket thru them in the near future with the three bowl patches. Oh, and did I mention no Bill PLanet crap.

Why would you buy Champion stuff on sale? It would take away from the 30% markup...I mean 30% donation to the University.
That is taking money away from the University. :banned: :banned:

I do not know what you mean by stuff on the shelves?

This is not one of our concerns. Now back to how you buy Tiger gear.

I would ask you once again to let others stick to the question and leave me out of this. But I can guarantee 100% you will not be able to do that.

I buy my tiger stuff at tennessee sports zone, tiger book store, champion, and I have even bought some cool tiger gear at walmart in the past.

Perhaps if blue planet would come up with ideas that are original and not copies or spin-offs of other ideas from other folks--then you might be successful. When I talk to folks about tiger gear--------Blue Planet is hardly ever brought up, and if it is --it is not positive. You appear to have a credibility problem. Just calling them like I see them.

Do you have a website where your products are showcased?

Does Blue planet sponsor anything at the university? If not, I have several outlets at the university where you can be of help. Perhaps a golf tournament? A high school band contest? Perhaps being a TSF member? Perhaps the Blue Crew?
I am seeking sposorships in ALL the areas at the U of M I an involved with. Pick one--------- You interested?????????????

BTY- I have yet to receive your Rebounder application after I sent you the info.

Maybe we should just drop our TIGER gear and make for the teams that have asked us. I will have to mull it over.

I would sell you mine, Chi but I know you wouldn't be able to get in it because it's too small for me to wear now. Also, mine doesn't have any bowl patches. The closest I ever came to a bowl was when players from the visiting teams used my locker at Murphy (Kennedy) Complex for Liberty Bowl practice.

Reverse psychology? Are you really that stupid? I have seen the rack at TN Sports Zone with your stuff that is "flying off the shelves". Same rack, same stuff, each time I go by there when in town.

Maybe it's just me, but I am all for having a choice...

I don't know Bossman, don't have any ties to any of the stores that sell Tiger gear.

But personally I am sick of having such terrible options. You can say what you want for Champion donating money to the university...but their merchandise is lame. (although it has improved dramatically in the last few years) and their monopoly on tiger gear at games has hurt not helped our endeavors to get a better quality, and a better selection of merchandise

I wish that someone would figure out the deal with Nike and get me some official gear. I want a freaking swoosh on my TIGER GEAR!!!!

03-hissyfit

As for tennessee sports zone - - I will never buy anything from there. I went in 5 years ago and asked them why they didnt have any tiger gear...the obvious UT bias was sickening....

I was told that it would never sell...so it will never sell in there...to me anyway

As for bossman's stuff - - whatever, if he wants to make it, I dont care if he stole the idea off your dresser this morning - - if it's nice I will buy it...

BUT bossman - you do need to give SOMETHING back--- besides an attitude.

Bossman is a donor to the TSF, I see him at basketball games. He must have season tickets.

I don't buy anything at the FedExForum (mdse). Occassionally, I'll buy something at a football game (especially if the weather creates a need). Most of my gear has been purchased at the Tiger Bookstore (what you need and what chew what). I have also ordered on-line.

Tiger Bookstore usually

Correction on helmet shirts. The 73 team also wore the silver helmet that you show for the 77 team. Do I get a free T shirt for that?
