Was it there when he made his blatent foul steal (which surprisingly didn't get called) to pull the team close? Was it there when he shot 4-11 from the field? Was it there when he coughed up the ball 5 times?

All this media/Dookie V hype is just repulsive. All the while when Duke was having their asses handed to them, the Duke love kept spewing out of his corrupt mind. How about giving G'Tech some credit for kicking Duke's a$$. I am so tired of hearing how much Duhon means to his team when it is obvious to anyone who is not Duke blind can see that the rest of the team is why they win....not Duhon. Deng goes 1-14 and they lose. Williams gets man-handled inside and they lose. It is painfully obvious that when it is necessary for one "leader" on Duke's team needs to step it up and carry the others, it isn't Duhon. Surely I am not the only one who see's this. Duhon is and has been over-rated all year. Simply because he is the senior PG on a very talented team he gets more credit than he has and will ever deserve. Without this talent around him to get him wins, he would not even be on the radar screen. Because it's Duke, suddenly this average PG with terrible numbers is now considered for ACC POY and All-ACC/American consideration....give me a break.

So Nate keep your Prosser and Coach K babble to yourself. Duhon is a sham and keeps on proving that he is riding Duke's media engine like a cheep *****.

ps. Gilcrist scores another 21 last night..shooting over 50% again while being triple teamed. That is a leader.

Which one? 03-wink He did that 2-3 times, IIRC. I love how he led with the body instead of the hands (and like you said, it STILL didn't get called).

He's Derek Jeter, man! He doesn't need big numbers to tell you how valuable he is. 03-wink

Amen to that! If you watched that game and didn't know the score, you'd think Duke was leading by 20-30 points. Nothing but Duke this, Duke that, and 5 different angles of every nice pass and Redick three. Just a constant Duke lovefest and, oh by the way, Tech was playing in the game too. Hopefully Paul Hewitt gave Dickie V a box of Kleenex's on his way out of Cameron.

:stupid: It's all about the Duke hype. I'll put it this way...let's say Duhon and Jarrett Jack changed uniforms - Jack played for Duke and Duhon for Tech. Duhon would be just another average PG on a middle of the pack team. Meanwhile, Jack would be getting hyped up as ACC POY, an all-American, etc. Plus, Dickie V would kissing his butt over ever little thing. Instead, Jack plays for Tech, who doesn't even belong in the same sentence as Duke according to most folks. Jack is a great guard (he certainly schooled the "ACC POY" the other night, and he's just a sophomore), but IMO he doesn't get the pub he deserves because he doesn't play for one of the "big boys."
