New Dresscodes of french schools

The students in french schools are no longer aloud to wear anything that pertains to any religions, are there any thoughts on that?

The French people may be primarily Catholic, but the government is Socialist-led. Socialists don't think much of religion. Therefore, I'm not surprised that such an edict has been put in place.

This is quintessential ACC smack if I've ever heard it. The French imposing dresscodes for students ranks up there with the Tobacco Road banter.
