Im really tired of people who call the system in place a National Championship. How is it even close?

How many teams are left out in the cold without even a sock for warmth????

There are 11 1-A conferences yet only 6 are allowed to even get in.

When they do get "in", its not like its some kind of 6 team playoff, but rather 4 games that are called a series.

Then on top of it the HYPOCRITES then have this sytem of polls, computers, etc to decide everything, yet when all games are played they only use the 2 HUMAN polls in the first place to decide who is voted #1.

We have had teams playing for the BEST team in the "Nation" yet they didnt even win their own Conference.

We have 10 - 2 schools, 8 - 4 schools that sit home to watch these games while other schools that went 6 - 6 and then go on to be 6 - 7.

3 other divisions in college football choose their Nation Champ by playing a 16 team, Tournament ON THE FIELD. You know kinda like how the game is played. They have no problems, yet 1-A football cant becuse of some of the following reasons:

1. Too many games.
Response: 3 other college levels already do it.

2. Too little class time
Response: So its ok for all other divisions???????? Huh???

3. The season would go to long.
Response: Cut the season back to 11 games its not like we need PRE-SEASON college football games. The 16 school playoff is only 4 more weeks. Big deal thats nothing. Besides its only 16 schools, and you are going to tell me that the players wouldnt want to???

4. The bowl system would be hurt.
Response: What a crock of crap. Like its some great system anyway. There could still be plenty of Bowls for other teams, and even make the Semifinlas or finals be a Bowl game or something.

5. the players wont want to risk injury.
Response: This is the most PATHETIC, self thinking, NON Team, obviously not said by ANY player EXCUSE that I have ever heard. This is another example of trickle down garbage ...like celebrating a sack when you are down by 21 points or something......from the NFL.

Im not going to go on as most excuse is as bullcrap as WVU not playing Marshall every year. WVU's and the BCS people muat get the same excuses from each other.

11 Conf champs.
5 at large bids.

Puts importance into every conference game as you want to win, plus it puts importance into the non-conf games as you want to get an at-large bid.

This would be a beautiful playoff, and most importantly there would be NO QUESTION as to the best team in 1-A football.

You dont hear 1-AA, or DII or DIII arguing for the next year about whoi deserved it.

All we as fans are asking for is a PLAYOFF not a PAYOFF!!!!!
