After losing leading scorer Roneeka Hodges to the WNBA's Houston Comets, the FSU coaching staff is counting on Lautsch to step up and fill some of the void offensively.

"Not only does she have all the physical tools, she's also very competitive," said Semrau, who said Lautsch has the talent to eventually join Hodges in the WNBA.
