Cheerleading got third at nationals. They matched last years effort. Maryland and Rutgers topped them. It's nice to know we have national championship caliber programs at Kennesaw. There's no doubt we're headed that way in a lot more programs.

I didn't post on the main board cause of all the naysayers for cheerleading but I think it's important and don't want to take away what they have done.

yea congrats to them, although knowing them, their prob not happy with third. they were confident in winning the whole thing.

and wasnt this a pretty young team as well? i remember hearing they had a lot of freshman and sophmores.

I know a few of them and yeah... they had pretty high hopes of winning nationals. Some have voiced that Maryland (placed #1) is their top rival anywhere. It's still exciting.

As far as being a young team, I could see that but don't know for sure. I've known Angela since high school and she's always pumped up about cheering. It's pretty much in her blood. She's most likely a senior by now.
