Rambling WRECKED! god i'mglad i went to the game.

We beat Ga Southern, Georgia, and took one game from Ga Tech. All we need to do is take care of Mercer and somehow schedule Ga State, and beat them, and we'd own the state of Georgia for Div.1 baseball.

i dont care if ppl think i'm crazy, but mercer and ksu are the two best teams in the state. ksu i mean pretty much dominated the game. they led the whole way through. i still dont know how they blew the first game, but they did. and i know mercer is better then uga, and if they were to play g-tech, they'd win 2/3.

I'm looking forward to Mercer..and Stetson...and ofcourse ETSU.

I agree for sure. Mercer gets another shot at UGA next week in their house. KSU is going to be a brutal series. I wouldn't be shocked if you took 2/3 from Stetson, but it won't be easy.

Now that you mention ETSU it got me thinking... do they still have the giant hill in right field!???

i have no idea if they still have the hill. its kinda cool in a way..brings back memories of playing in a sandlot or on a crummy field when you're younger.

Great win! I knew we'd have better luck than the first go around. The top tier teams are so much easier to draw interest from our school and it's even better when we win. Everyone knows Tech, UGA, Tennessee, et al. and people were actually talking about going to a baseball game on campus. When I say people I mean people who normally don't care. It sure will be nice to put out a product that's worth the interest of the BCS Conference teams.

I'm just wondering when it becomes too much of a pain for these teams to keep us on their schedules if we'll get kicked to the curb. Then again, they need quality opponents too for RPI so who knows.

it was sold out, and their were a lot of students there..including scrappy. they were also throwing t-shirts in the stands.

the only thing that made me a little mad was some of the students left early and didnt get to see the ending. w/e though, i expect that with feeble a.d.d minds when watching baseball.

This is Atlanta where at the braves games I see people sitting in $50 seats arrive at the third and leave at the seventh. It's just part of it where we are. I wish they made the scoreboard where you could see it if you were driving by. Small complaint though.
