Yup, we'll see. Georgetown is one of my picks to get to elite 8 but I'd love to be proven wrong

Yeah in our a-sun bracket I picked Georgetown all the way-- but I would love to have my bracket ruined today.

Wouldn't you know that's the game that gets blacked out online... err, just when you think you have a good thing going. CBS will let you listen to the audio though.

I've got it on comcast. Boomer needs to start playing big. He's going up weak and it's costing them down low. Belmont still hasn't trailed all game, 11-11 now

its funny how teams go away from what was working when the other team starts making a mini run. belmont needs to slow the game down and quit throwing the ball away.

I'm just glad they came into the game with a solid plan. They aren't laying a Stanford style egg.

well their starting to go back to their game...however i dont like the zone. they should stick to man..i know g-town is bigger, but their going to hit threes all day if belmont plays zone..and actually for the most part belmonts big men are playing good d.

well down 13 at half. they go to man they have a chance to make the game interesting. with zone their not able to box out and their leaving wide open 3's. hopefully belmont can at least make this look respectable.

Georgetown is just raining 3's. Otherwise it would be much closer like you said Owlzfan. Belmont is getting a taste of their own 3 point medicine.

Alright, so does Georgetown (-16.5) cover the spread?

I couldn't believe it was only 16.5 when I saw that yesterday. I'd need at least 20 to have bet belmont.

So does this type of game help or hurt our conference? I mean obviously we can't run with the 1's and 2's (3's...).

It's got to help but it comes at a price. I'm waiting for this conference to pony up the money that respectable D-I schools need to be competitive. I don't want to be "This years George Mason" I would much rather be the conference sending 2-3 teams. I think some of the programs we have can play at the highest level with a little tweaking and more resources.

And honestly, the reason we're a 15 seed the last two seasons is KSU & UNF coming in. Combine that with Mercer, Campbell, and Stetson having terrible RPI's and you don't get much conference respect (and keep our top teams RPI's in check)

We can bounce back to where we were (10-14 seeds) but not til about 2010 realistically. Unless 1 or 2 teams just go off and have an insane year.

etsu would of given g-town a much closer game. belmont doesnt have the athletes to compete with g-town which etsu does. not saying they would of won, but it would of been a lot closer.

G-Town is too tough underneath, the good thing about them is they really like to slow things down, which could have worked to our favor. Oh well, that's the price you pay for living and dying by the three point shot.
