to make it worse..if we put our entire athletic program to d-1 a year b4, instead of just soccer and golf..we'd be playing in our first conference tourney.

I wonder if there's a way to blame the atletic department for that. lol, perhaps betty? those are fun people to blame.

i still dont get why we moved golf and soccer to d1 first, and not just bring the entire athletic program. they had to know the rules for probation were going to change from 2 years to 4 the very next year.

Soccer and golf out of all the KSU sports to put on the fast track. Are these money sports for you guys( just joking). I feel for you. I know that one of the agreements for E.T.S.U to join the A-Sun was that we had to get a men's soccer team. Figure that one..

Mens soccer is mandated for the ASun so I'm sure it's coming to kennesaw soon. I'm with you Owlz, someone had to know of the change else they wouldn't have fast tracked the two sports. Did they think those would be the ones we'd be most successful at? Soccer is pretty safe bet but golf. Hrm, just don't know. Someone messed up and stopped momentum dead in its tracks.

Really? So Golf and Soccer had better scholar athletes so their programs got fast tracked? I don't doubt that may be the case. I just wonder why more sports didn't go if that's the case. Oh well, such is life... 09-10 here we come.

man probation really sucks...it just hit me today that the season really is over...i see us standing in 5th after a disapointing season..and realize we cant reek havoc in our conference tourney. 2 more years. and the good news now is the recruiting disadvantage we have...will start going away as recruits might not mind waiting a year or two.
