Just curious
Hey KSU fans, I was curious to hear you perspective on your team's struggles this season. After watching you guys, I was so impressed with your talent, athleticism, and tenanciousness. What gives?

It's been rough. Ingle not living up to last years numbers and a reluctant coach to not bench him. Now it doesn't matter with so few games left and nothing to prove except maybe a spoiler. Fresh talent but inexperience (showing through in Whipple) and nerves have wrecked us at times.
Stegall has been the inside man we needed last year. There's been a lot of promise though and definately something to look forward to in the years to come. Tony Ingle's frustration mirrors the campus'. Recruiting for a team on probation is extremely difficult and it's just getting past the hump to really see what this team can do.
The A-Sun fits us right now even though I would love to see my favorite sport, football, being played on campus. We just don't have the budget to even successfully fund the teams we do have. Everything about this season is looking to next season which is looking to the next. Our final probationary year will close with a celebration to start the real competition.
Women's soccer had so much promise and then get dumped at home in the way they did after outshooting JU 35+ to 3 and losing in the final minute and first 45 seconds of overtime. That was about the worst way I've seen a team finish such a successful year and will be in the returning players hearts when they come back.

It seems like we have the talent to win most games, but only 1 or 2 people show up and play hard each game. Ronnel went NUTS against you guys, and didn't do much in a bunch of the games this year. Golden has shown up maybe 2 games this whole year, the rest of the game he took too many shots and missed most of them.
Also I think Coach Ingle's reluctance to put in one of our big guys when going against a team like Belmont with that big Boomer guy hurts us. I want to see more of Marvin Listenbee and Alex Cornett. I hope to see the redshirt 7 footer we got next year a bunch as well.

the talent is there, and thats with the recruting disadvantage. i'm not 2 worried, by next year the team will be a lot better, our team chemistry is the worst its been in a while yet we still win some games and have been close in a lot of others. and golden isnt scoring/shooting as well as he could, but again, he shouldnt be benched, though i think his min should be reduced. wouldnt surprise me to see if he was leading the Sun in min played which has got to be tough on him.
i also would like to see marvin play some, i know he's not exactly the greatest player out there, but he'd be doing as much as Whipple, who plays scared when in fact he may have more natural talent then wooten. marvin is a big guy that could get us some rebounds and play quality defense.
but anyway the guy i want to see at pg next year is not Z, but Keyonte Keith. i see a lot of upside in him, he just needs to mature and bulk up slightly and trust his skill. great speed, excellent jumping ability, pretty good shot, very very very very very quick feet, and is actually our best perimeter defender besides wooten and from what i can tell, can find the open man.
season is still going, and we could get hot still and finish strong.
