Bears beat VMI 105-103 in regulation
Well they took about 100 shots and hit very few, but it still added up to 103. We managed to go up big early, fall behind 7 late, and rally to win. What a game to listen to, it was incredible. Our announcer did a great job. Henry had 18pts/22 boards/7 assists. Aaron/Florence both had 21. Pfohl had a career day scoring 18 and 10 boards, and was clearly part of the gameplan that got us going early.

That puts us on a W4, and at 5-4 on the year. Longest win streak since 2 seasons ago.

Nice win for Mercer on the road. I'm starting to believe!

Campbell needs to play VMI and their high-octane offense.

Campbell has a more "pure" offense though. In this game, we turned the ball over a disgusting 31 times (but it's a young team so it happens). This led to them having numerous shots, and they only hit about 33% of them, and about 25% from 3 point range (about 48 three point attempts). Our guys just kept making the adjustments and hitting big shot after big shot. Campbell vs. VMI would be interesting for sure!
