Has anyone considered this?
One of the reasons ETSU football was always such a loser was because the Bucs had to deal with having four or five fewer scholarships than their opponents.
The problem I see with the current football foundation is that even if they would somehow be successful- then the model they are going to have to deal with as long as they try to deal with Mullins and Stanton and not remove them is this will be a penny-pinching operation, the way all of ETSU is now.
And if that's the case, how in the world could we ever expect it to compete if the sport somehow was resumed?

No the reason ETSU was a loser in football was because of the big dope known as Paul Hamilton. Mike Cavan brought ETSU to the top of the Socon, then Paul Hamilton takes over THE EXACT SAME TEAM that was ranked 5th or 6th in the preason and he only wins 7 games, which was the most of his pathetic career. Paul Hamilton killed football at ETSU NOT Paul Stanton.

Oh please.
If that was the case, how did the program ever live through Don Riley?
The stupidity of Tri-Cities sports fans can sometimes not be believed.

Everything went downhill with Hamilton, I can't see one good thing the man did for that program except make it bad. Mike Cavan brought that program to new heights only to see it fall again with the head scratcher himself Hamilton.
