David Palmer transferring
Word is that David Palmer 6-9, 240 post player from Antioch, TN, is transferring after coaching change at Seton Hall. ETSU recruited him heavily originally. Wonder if Bucs might be in the running now, although roster appears to be full.

Palmer would have three years of eligibility after sitting out a year.

I liked this kid in HS...
He had stars in his eyes before transferring to Oak Hill. He originally committed to Illinois and Bruce Weber got out of that quickly. He would have been a good fit at a school such as ETSU. He is a big body who played with a lot of energy the times I saw him play.

He would be a coup if ETSU could land him, but I would be surprised to see if he came our way.

Even if he would come our way, we do indeed have a full roster with the signing of 5 H.S. players.

I suppose if he really wanted to come here he could just sit out this year and pay his way until he could get a scholarship the next year.

With the transfer rules he would have to sit out next year no matter where he went, correct?
