Bartow now focusing on playing DeChellis' players
From today's Press-

Freshman guard Courtney Pigram and sophomore forward Andrew Reed, thought to be sure-fire contributors, seem to have suddenly fallen off the radar screen. The two didn

This ranks right up there in probably the Top 50 dumbest posts by Pitt (out of several thousand posts, 99% pretty damn stupid).

Sneed is a bust, he isn't playing that well recently this year, did you see his Stats last year? 4-5 games this year wipes out the 30 plus before, alrightly Pitt.

Reed had a pretty good freshman year and seems to be going through a sophmore slump, again to soon say bust based a few game stretch this year.

Pigram, if he stays around for 4 years at ETSU he will break some records. He has a ton of pure talent that needs to be harnassed better.t

Strong is the guy who is taking Pigrams minutes and he was Bartows first recruit when he came to ETSU. Strong has been a good player for ETSU and far from a bust.

Thomas has started to learn the system and is becoming more comfortable and a solid contributor every game.

Swader, a redshirt so can't say about him.

The 3 freshmen, to early in their career to judge any of them.

Way to early to judge them all busts..

This just in- Bucs 5-6.

This just in- ETSU fans excited about beating Campbell.

This just in- It took you two idiots a week to come up with a retort, and Sneed and Smith are still hit or miss propositions- as they always are.

When I say the Tri-Cities is the worst sports area in America, I have some ammo backing me up.

My first visit to this board in a while, I see you are up to your usrnedusal crap and responded. I notice you didn't back up your bust comment just turned to insults, then started talking about Sneed and Smith which has nothing to do with the topic since Smith was a DeChellis recruit and Sneed a Bartow.

There are 3 players left on this team from DeChellis. Smith, Rhoda and Nuckles, they have all been around 4 years and Smith and Rhoda have started all 4 years they have been here, of course a coach is going to turn to those guys for leadership, has nothing to do with other players being a bust.
se

Go back to covering hockey in West Virginia Marky.....

We going to to White House.......... Yeeeeessssssss

Hockey in West Virginia is a helluva lot bigger than anything going on at ETSU right now.

I won't go into how good hockey is better than bad basketball. Heck, I won't even go into how hockey is an infinitely superior sport than basketball- which in itself is an outdated name for a very boring sport (they haven't used peach baskets for years).

Thugball would be more like it.

Heck, I won't even go into how you think that supporting David Mullins led athletic programs is better than supporting a professional sports franchise led by the family that the old Patrick Division in hockey was named after.

I will say that your original point made no sense whatsoever and it was made only to bash me.

I really feel sorry for you. I really do. You're trapped in loyalty to the worst athletic dept. in the NCAA.

Time to get out Rod. Get out now. This isn't the odd losing season- this isn't something firing a coach will solve.

This is an entire athletic dept. in chaos and a region that doesn't care. This is "ABANDON ALL HOPE ALL YE WHO ENTER HERE!"

Welcome, Rod, to life as an ETSU fan.

Where defending bad basketball players and shooting the messenger is a way of life!!!!!

What didn't make sense? you made the stupid statement that all of Bartows players are busts. I pointed out player by player why that was such a incorrect generalization to make.

In response to Andrew
Keep in mind he missed HOW LONG because of a hand injury? Then, he comes back, not 100 percent, plays with a cast on his hand. Reed started the year a little behind after getting hurt at Blue/Gold.
With Strong starting to emerge as a better player, that cut into Pigram's minutes. I noticed that Courtney played his arse off at the FAU game, and had pretty good numbers against Campbell.
Every Bartow player a bust? Sneed's been a great asset to the team, Pigram has been fantastic as a freshman to this point.
Now, West Virginia hockey? Are you kidding me?! Hockey's a superior sport? Yea ok, that's why ESPN dropped the NHL, and their ratings are in the toilet on OLN, with NBC barely showing a handful of games. As bad as I loathe the NBA, they're in better financial and TV shape than the National Hockey League. But I digress...
BTW, I just read on the UNCG board a message about you. Did you really say that you thought that DeChellis was looking like an NIT team?

The players he recruited to come to an NCAA tourney team have made them, at best, a middle of the road A-Sun team.

And that is being VERY charitible.

You're the guy Rod who waxes poetic for Murry Bartow to be replaced by George Pitts.

If all of Bartow's players were doing so well, why would you ask for that?

Rod- you've come over to my side on Tim Smith.

It's time to quit fighting me- because I've called everything that's happened at ETSU and you know it, and it's clearly only making YOU look bad.
