Radford would be stupid to move. Maybe they can move in and we can go to the Big South.

Actually Radford along with Longwood would be good fits in the A-Sun. Both schools do not have football nor do they plan on football. It seems to me that the football A-Sun schools are slowly leaving one by one. As for ETSU they should reinvest in foorball and build a new outdoor stadium and convert the dome into a ligit basketball arena. With that said they then would be a good fit in the Ohio Valley Conference or some other high profile conference. I think they need that spot light to over come the UT domience for fan support in the area. ETSU in my mind is prime for something along those lines.

Interesting news.. Good to hear that RU is getting that kind of advice from the outstide, as the Big South is their natural geographic fit.
As for Longwood, they have to be hoping for a Big South invite as I can't see the ASun picking them up.... unless of course another Virginia school from the BSC comes along as well (package deal). That is why Radford is still a possibility, small as it may be.
Speaking of Big South schools, any more Winthrop rumors lately? This is in my mind the BEST fit for the ASun (and has been for quite some time) if they do ever decide to make the move. A move with UNCA would be quite a nice present for Mr. Bibb.
Will this ever happen? Who knows.
By the way, big congrats to CAMPBELL on the 2-0 Conference start. Very good to see the Camels get a couple of W's. That ship will be righted, just takes time (see UCF Football).
Cheers!
