Thanks everyone. I now have a better understanding of how Pitt's personal issues with ETSU cause him to post so much bollix.

The purpose of the point guard, and every other player on a team, is to win games. Looks like Tim and the rest of the team have their early season problems sorted. I'm looking forward to the rest of the season.

They see hustle. They see Rhoda taking charges (He took two against G-Webb), which has other guys trying to take them, Courtney, Travis and Tim are all over the floor hustling for loose balls, moving their feet on offense, running that 2-2-1 press the way it's meant to be ran. They've even improved at the zone.

Great. I post honest criticism and I get back cliches.

You want to brag on wins over Campbell and the rest of the rot of the A-Sun Conference- be my guest.

You will look like complete morons- but- then again- this is ETSU.

Ask Furman about playing the lowly Camels. They needed OT. Ask UT-C about playing former D-2 power Belmont, and what happened to them at home... Ask Marshall, Central Michigan and Minnesota about the A-Sun...
You don't post honest criticism, you post personal attacks on a team you've not physically been in the presence of during a game since DeChellis and Ryan Lawson were a part of the program.

A- When I DID come down- it was an 800 mile round trip and a helluva commitment.

B- There is no way I will ever go to an ETSU game for as long as David Mullins is the AD.

That's not because I was kicked from press row, because I eat babies, rob banks, or any other one of the ridiculous pieces of drivel you put out there behind a cloak of anonymity.

It's because supporting ETSU athletics now is like joining the Hitler Youth. I don't want to be a part of this number now, Lord.

All I've ever done is tell it like it is. But somehow, in the "shoot the messenger" mentality of ETSU, I am the villian. And the fact you have to brag on losses to Furman to tell me how great the A-Sun is is all the proof any objective person would need to see how far off you really are.

What does Mullins semen taste like?

Just tell me. I had no idea "lover" was a literal term!!!!!

You just have to get the last word in with your inane negativity in every thread, don't you?

Absolutely he does Foe... The best thing to do is when he starts his ramblings, just ignore them. This is my last post directed towards any of this mess, it's just a shame that we have someone who apparently hates ETSU, hates Tennessee, and hates the people involved in the state so much, yet like a bad case of crabs on a prostitute he just keeps coming back.

Fool Of England-

It's hardly "inane negativity," sir, mate, or whatever.

Let's face it. THERE IS NOTHING POSITIVE ABOUT ETSU ATHLETICS RIGHT NOW!

Nothing. Na Da. You can pretend things are going well, but it is foolish to do so.

You can talk about the creation of a soccer team, but it comes at the cost of a football team and nobody in this country is going to applaud that swap.

You and your 100 other parents and girlfriends can watch the men's soccer team whenever it takes place- I will wax poetic for the 5000 or so who saw the football team and gave local athletes a chance to get college scholarships.

You can talk about a winning streak over bad teams in the A-Sun, but it's still a bush league conference.

You can talk about the golf team, but all it does is take away money from the other programs and has never drawn one spectator.

And it didn't have to be this way. But I'm not about to see this program go into the toilet- to see the basketball team go from first to worst overnight- to see the football team die- to see all of this take place and then listen to propaganda lines from the dept repeated on this board. It means far, far, far too much to me- and I do like to rant.

The fact of the matter is I DON'T hate Tennessee. I like the politics on the eastern side and the music, though the allergies do get to me so I'm glad I don't live there anymore.

And I like my Bucs. Yep. For as many times as this administration has kicked me in the teeth- at the end of the day it's my school, dammit.

But like a kid who takes his allowance and spends it on drugs, sometimes ya gotta give 'em a little tough love.
