Hey FAU fans,

Have any of you guys been to a basketball game this year? I know that wilma hit you guys hard (im at school in orlando, but am from Boca) and I also know that the gym's roof was destroyed. On that note, where is FAU playing their homegames at? Boca High? Did they fix the gym? Where should I expect to go to catch the game next week?

Additionally, who are your top players this year?

FAU got their gym fixed just a day or two before the home opener. So the game will be played at home. They had to practice all over the place before the season due to the roof problem but thankfully that has been taken care of. As for the top threat-Deandre Rice is by far FAU's best threat-hes the real deal. You may not belive this but we actually had over 1000 people for the North Florida game so you might actually have to get their early if youd like a super seat unlike the past! :)

Do you guys have any plans to expand your gym? Where do you hold graduations?

You're gonna be selling that thing out nightly soon. If not this year, then next because:

- All-Sports conference means rivalries from one sport pour over to others.

- Matt Doherty is going to have a great product in the works

- For the first reason, you'll have more "named" opponants coming in. An Arkansas State program might not be better than a GWU or Belmont, but they will know who they are because of the football or baseball competition.

True, but I dont think they are in any rush so far. Last year they did not have any of the "upper deck" seats open, only the bleachers on the bottom. I think their capacity is close to ours with better sightlines all around. I wouldnt say their gym is as nice as ours, though, which isnt saying much. They have their graduations in the gym as well, and many of the local high schools too.

I do believe they'll need a new one soon, but I think their athletic department is in some serious debt due to the football team. They also want an on campus football stadium first.
