Ouch! That one hurts. I'm not sure even where to start, so I'll pass this time and just look forward to Saturday.

Very disappointing. I don't think I have ever seen or heard of a team that gets killed by the 3 pt shot more than ETSU does. And it seems to have all started from the 3pt shot given up by Cincy in the NCAA tourney. Its amazing (and almost comical) how we seem to always see an opposing player get a record night and/or the opposing team break 3pt shot records. I used to always be concerned with how our inside play would match up with people. Oh well.

2 career nights from opposing teams in 3 games--a dubious distinction.

This one really hurt. As I posted on the other board, I was never comfortable throughout the game. I had a bad feeling even when we were up at the half by 11.

Give Belmont credit. They never gave up. Bartow was outcoached. Can't blame this on any one player, it was one of those games. One more made free throw, one more rebound, one less stupid foul, or many other things and we would have won.

Belmont made me think of Davidson... :bang:

Call them Davidson West. Thought for sure that was Daddie's boy shooting up those threes. We should start fouling everbody when they first throw it in, so they only get 2 free throws.

Tough loss. Congrats to Belmont.
