Someone dig up that post I made a year ago....

The A-Sun will be as good or better than before we left it.

It wasn't really a prophecy. Things changed from the time the realignment was announced and when we actually bolted. UCF stayed strong, but Troy and GSU were on a downward spiral. GWU had significant improvement each year and Belmont was contending from its first year when I watched them almost upset GSU in the UCF Arena (FAU eventually won that year) in the A-Sun tourney.

Last year Lipscomb was ready to play with the big boys in the conference by the years end and the Battle of the Boulevard is really something the conference should cherish having. Any college basketball fans in 3 hours of Nashville should make it to that game - and it happens twice a year!

Finally, didn't KSU win a DII title 2-3 years ago?

If you guys can keep this lineup for a few years - wow. Just wow.

Early on, it looks like GW, ETSU, and Belmont are the 3 to beat. Who else will step up???
