East Tennessee State basketball coach Murry Bartow has a lot of new players to look at between now and mid-October.

Fortunately he’ll have chances to see them on the floor all at once if he wants, thanks to an NCAA rule change that allows coaches to practice their entire teams for up to two hours a week. Last year those coaches just got small glimpses of their personnel in the offseason.
