Possibly MT's best signee of the Kermit Davis era...
Uriah Hethington, who ended up having to go the juco route has recommitted to Middle Tennessee. Hethington will be playing his second juco season at juco power Okaloosa-Walton JC in the florida panhandle...


Excerpt from DNJ bulletin:

[i]...Hethington originally signed a national letter of intent with the Blue Raiders in November 2004 but did not qualify academically.

Since then, the 6-foot-8 center has thrived at Okaloosa-Walton (Fla.) College under former MTSU coach Bruce Stewart, averaging 12.3 points, 9.3 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game and shooting 51 percent from the field last season.
