I had that MLB package.. I finally listened to Scully. Kinda thought he was overrated to be honest. Wish I had hear him 10 - 15 years ago when he was younger. But PBP seemed slow at best and with only one person just didn't have the banter I've come to know and expect from your normal telecast. May just be I'm used to the sox and cubs games with two announcers that the long silent pauses of a one man booth threw me off.

If you do have the package, I'd suggest watching a Tampa Bay game. Surprised to find out I was a big fan of the Devil Ray's announcing team.. (no clue what their names we're last year). They we're the perfect announcing pair for that team, made a lot of jokes about how bad the team was and actually came down on the players when they made mistakes (which was quite often).
Nationals we're good too for announcers from out of the area.

I dont know if this is true or not, but apparently Hawk called all the Cubs hits today, besides Barrets homerun, lucky.

I didnt see the game since I was at work, but I find this very hard to be true....What an old piece of ****
