It was a hard one to Take in. I was pissed for about 36 hours, and Just have got over it. Well I'm not over it, but I guess I could say, I am used to it by now. It ain't nothing I haven't seen before.

I am not sugar coating anything, but I have not given up hope yet, because we have not started conference yet. I still believe that we can win this conference.

We have the talent, and it shows at times. We lack confidence and the ability to put teams away.
That is from the bottom up, including the coaching staff. Saturday's lost against UCF was a total break down of coaching starting with the cajuns not going for it on 4th and 1, to not calling timeouts, while having 3 of them with 45 sec. left, and then deciding to call a time out with 5 sec. left while UCF's kicker misses the field goal.

I beleive in this team, and the coaches, but we have to start showing it on the field. Starting now!!!!!!!!!

Even though we lost Babb, Desormeaux showed that he is a good leader and excellent QB.
This conference is still anyones! I don't beleive the attendance will be that great on Thurs., but with a win and then hopefully a win at ASU which will be no cakewalk, we will be 2-0 in conference, with a .500 record going into the Troy game for homecoming. I beleive the crowd will come back for that game.
The city of Lafayette wants to win, and they want to support a home team!
GEAUX LOUISIANA!

It was a good performance after the 1st quarter. Wish we could have capitalized on the blocked punt and the pick at the goal line didn't help either. Desormeaux played lights out. I must say with him in the future, the future looks bright. Jerry is still the man, but with MD and Hundley behind him, we are set at QB for a good while.

I like how that no matter how far back we were, we didn't completely abandon the running game (like a certain NFL team does that most of us root for). We stayed with the gameplan and made a great comeback. After the halftime adjustments, I felt we played the game Coach Bustle wanted the Cajuns to play against UCF.

We are still undefeated in conference which matters the most. We start conference Thursday night against 0-5 FAU. It's a new season and this one will end at Cajun Field in the New Orleans/Cajun Bowl!
