Welcome aboard Owls! My fondest memory (only memory, actually) of FAU is us knocking them out of the 2002 NCAA baseball tourney to advance to the College World Series. Just had to remind you folks of that. :laugh: :wave:

For whatever reason being that close to the CWS was
great, but losing in the regional's last year hurt more.
Getting through those regional can be rather brutal.

I think the owls will be a great team in the SBC. I think this conference will only become stronger with the teams that have been added.

Absolutely. We found that out by getting swept out of our own reigonal last year. IIRC, didn't FAU have to beat Alabama twice in one day to make the Super-Reigonals a couple years ago?

Adding FAU was a good move; Coach Schnell has a history of building winning programs. I expect FAU to make some noise very quickly once they begin SBC play.

I think everyone who supports a SBC school expects them to do well, their first year in the conference. I think the games we play against them will be pretty interesting.
