That's the rumor on several message boards. Benches 250, 6'0 190 speed 4.6. Purportly chose us over CMU. I know he's listed on the News top 60 but don't know which number. I believe Rivals has him rated 2 stars. Visited in December.

Just waiting for confirmation from outside source. Always wise to do so.

Rivals database has been updated showing Caldwell commit to EMU.

No. 48 on the Detroit News list. I believe that gives us 10 verbals off the top 60 list.

Played QB as junior running for 700 yards and passing for 500 according to Scout.com. Also punted and returned punts and kickoffs.

I saw a few minutes of Flint C-A on TV last fall. I paid attention to Cardwell as I'd seen in the paper that EMU was reqruiting him. I'm glad this kid is listed as a safety. He is not a D1 college QB.

Genyk and staff seem to be having a great recruiting season. They are definitely making headway with the Michigan HS players/coaches. Let's hope all the kids qualify, show up, and work hard.

I would agree that Genyk is recruiting Michigan very well and this is certainly a good year to be doing that. Waiting to see where the final recruiting list comes out before commenting.
