Nuggets trade Earl Boykins
I'm not much of an NBA fan - much prefer college ball as a spectator. But there is some sadness in Denver as fan favorite Earl Boykins was traded to Milwaukee today.

The handwriting was on the wall when the Nuggets acquired Iverson. Can't have two little guys out there.

Earl remains one of the more visible EMU grads making it in pro sports and the fans loved his spirit and competitiveness and his heart. Sad to see him leave.....

Agreed. It will be done but the question is when?

I know they wanted to retire and recognize others who came before him first. I think that has been done, so hopefully soon they can do this. With Earl playing for the Bucks he will make more appearances in Detroit and maybe EMU could coordinate something when the Bucks are in town.
