Rivals is reporting that Josh Allison a 3 star DL has chosen CMU. I think there may be a question of academics or he may prop. The reason I say that is it appears a lot of Big Ten schools backed off him. Still it would have been a nice catch.

That's disappointing really thought we had a chance with him

One thing to remember about any EMU recruiting class:

80% of success is showing up.

From what I'm hearing, it's more to do with a decommit from Minnesota, due to the sudden coaching change there.

Josh is the 41 ranked DT according to Rivals so CMU got a nice catch indeed.

According to Rivals Josh has a 2.7 GPA. Also rivals indicates the only schools to offer him were CMU, EMU and Miami-OH. I'm reading between the lines here-no Big Ten offered a scholie despite his impressive athletic talent? Why do you think that is? He had Cincy, Penn St and Purdue as schools of interest-his interest.

I believe Scout says he had an offer from Minnesota and committed when Mason was the coach. After Mason was fired he de-committed and verballed to CMU.
