I wish. Yesterday they beat Thomas Diamond 5-2...they must have gotten real comfortable heading into today's game. Suddenly, with the wind blowing out at the Maes, they got killed. You better be ready to swing em when that wind is blowing out. Lots of runs!!

Nice trip for Siena...are they petitioning for entry into the Belt? At UNO this weekend, in Lafayette midweek, in Mobile next weekend!

Good News to see Siena's not to hot.

Unfortuantley Siena won't be getting into the Belt. Wright Waters has said that they are only adding I-A teams.

I don't think so. You guys should read the ask the commisoner collum on sunbeltsports.org

"Our next full member will be a IA football school to make sure we have our eight full-time members playing IA football and 6 men's championship sports and 8 women's championship sports."

Are you guys being serious? I was quite obviously joking about Siena joining the Belt. I made the remark while also mentioning they are on an eight game road trip, all against Sun Belt teams.

FIU defeats Boston College, 11-9.

Tommy LaSorda was at the game, my girlfriend and I took a picture with him. Very Cool!

[quote]Edwards Sparks FIU to 11-9 Victory

Box Score

Miami, Fla. -- The Florida International University baseball team ended a brief two-game losing skid with an 11-9 victory over Boston College on Sunday afternoon at University Park.

FIU overcame six errors to capitalize on two by the visiting Eagles with nine hits

Lasorda does seem real cool. He's done some things for UNO in the past. He's friends with our old coach Ron Maestri.
