This is a great addition to a campus that looks better and better each year.

Excellent!!! I've been away from EMU this year, but I'm heading back for winter term. If I have any classes on campus I'll definately check this out. I really like the way the campus is shaping out. Very, very university-like!

New Student Center and Bookstore
My wife and I attended the dedication of the new student center at EMU last night. If you haven't been in this building do yourself a favor and visit it soon. EMU has needed a building of this calibre for a long time.

Inside the new Student Center, among many other services, is the new Folletts-run bookstore. It is large and well-stocked with EMU gear and souvenirs, as well as books. I spoke at length with the manager, who is an EMU alum, and he told me that the new online catalog is being updated day by day. The web page is run locally so he is doing it personally as time allows and new stock comes in. Also, the bookstore is open until 8pm M-F and open Sundays from 11 - 4. It looks like the days of not being able to find EMU gear are over.
